Sometimes it’s the simplest things that make a difference.
I was helping a friend’s friend recently. She was really all over the place when it came to marketing her business, and asked for some advice.
When she explained her “products,” I asked one question, “What is it you really want?” She was passionate about too many things. Pretty hard to market a service when there is no focus. Her “assignment” from me was to decide – where she wanted to put her energy.
She called back this past week – all excited and grateful. She had decided where to focus, and was moving forward. I could hear her excitement as she explained what she had done and where she was going.
Now, of course, is the execution. She needs to implement the plan.
The takeaway here is to focus. What do you really want to have, to do, to be? Sometimes, it’s hard to see the forest for the trees. Step back, dig deep, and focus!
