Short follow-up blog this time … time for another margarita ….
There is something about sunshine, the roar of the waves and a few margaritas on the beach that not only relax me, but get my creative juices flowing.
People who know me know that I love to vacation and travel, and that I encourage my clients to do the same. Why?
It gives people time to think. At work, most of our calendars are so jammed, and our inboxes so full that we almost mindlessly move from activity to activity. If that’s the case, where do we find the time to be creative … to think big thoughts?
My husband says I always work. My employees think I vacation too much. But, the reality is I don’t live a life of silos. From my perspective, I live a life where I do both. Sometimes, I spend more time at work – and other times playing (family, friends, travel) – and everything gets done.
